Acara Solutions is looking for a LCM (Laser Cutting Machine Operator) for our client in the Portsmouth, NH areaThis role is 2nd shiftThe Manufacturing Operator will perform various tasks that may include screen printing, cutting glass based on specification, operate a grinding machine, inspect and pack final product, as well as wrap customer specific microscope slides.
Essential Functions : -Load and unload pieces of glass-Operate a variety of manual and automated printing, cutting, grinding, and wrapping machines while following safety protocol-Use hand operated power and manual material moving equipment-Follow technical drawings for customer specifications-Identify and remove defective product-Use measuring devices to ensure proper dimensions-Required to meet daily production targets-Support and participate in continuous improvement projects-Engage in safety-related activities-Ability to read and follow work instructions-Miscellaneous duties as assignedRequired Skills / Qualifications : Highschool Diploma or GEDPreferred Skills / Qualifications : Aleron companies (Acara Solutions, Aleron Shared Resources, Broadleaf Results, Lume Strategies, TalentRise, Viaduct) are Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employers.
